What an amazing adventure of creativity with artists from Senegal, America and around the world uniting for the Rhythmes et Formes du Monde Festival at Sobobade in Dakar, Senegal. There were remarkable live performances featuring drummers, poets, dancers, music ensembles, singers and more. Many thanks to festival coordinator Aimé Boissy and visionary and creator of Sobobade, Gerard Chenet.

I have so much to share. We spent a day recording in Senegalese superstar Baaba Maal’s studio, and what we created is mind blowing! Big thanks to all involved for making this experience a cherished one. Thank you Senegal-America Project, Tony Vacca, Massamba Diop, Jean Butler, Issa Ndour, Aimé Boissy, Gerard Chenet, Petite Cōte Tourisme, Paul Richmond, Pape Sakho, Alieu Cham, WantD, Bideew Bou Bess, Mamadou Ndiaye, Backa Niang, Mayor Pape Gorgui Ndong, Ishea Irene Shakily, Jocelyn Pleasant, Adrian Dickinson, Abiodun Oyewole, Ron Dans and Evi Schachtl. You all rock!
